Video: Korean and US GP tracks

Now these are a few tracks that have alot of potential. Below is a great onboard with Karun Chandhok in the Red Bull Racing F1 car, on a track that gets a thumbs up from him. Lots of flowing corners, slow and fast, blind corners, some high cornering G forces, nice long straights and short blips of acceleration. This is one of the new tracks of the F1 era not built within the confines of a street circuit venue such as Valencia that means they have been able to sculpt a great layout and not have concrete walls either side of the driver. Along with the new plans for the US Grand Prix seen above for 2012, which has an incredible change in climb for Turn One, this should be great to see the F1 cars and drivers tackle for the first time.

Event: Avon Tyres British GT Championship

This weekend the Northamptonshire track, home of British Motorsport, Silverstone was host to rounds of the British GT, British Formula 3, Formula Ford, Ginetta Challenge, Ma5da MX-5 and VW Saloon racing championships.

There was some great racing particularly in the Avon Tyres sponsored British GT Championship race on the Sunday afternoon, where the sound of around the track resonated with Aston Martins, Ferraris, Porsches and GT40s. Fast cars, lots of wheel to wheel racing and a close finish (particularly for a 2hour enduro race) meant that those in attendance weren’t disappointed.

Opinion: Vettel Under Pressure

It could have been, and should have been, a Red Bull parade already over with…so why isn’t it?

Had he converted his seven pole position starts into seven wins he would be running away with the championship to a point where we would all, honestly be sick with his winning ways, but in awe at his skills behind the wheel of the car.

The Red Bull car in the hands of Vettel seems to always have the fastest lap of the race, set in the last few laps of the race. The million dollar question however still is, ”Does Sebastian Vettel have the requirements to win his first F1 Drivers’ Championship?”

Opinion: Schumacher’s “Too Hard”?

Michael Schumacher has conceded that he in fact was “too hard” on his ex-Ferrari team mate Rubens Barrichello after being awarded a 10-place grid penalty for the next race in four weeks’ time at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. This comes after he initially stated that he was harsh but fair in the post-race interviews and a plea from Barrichello to the F1 fans to give their opinion on the subject.
